It all innocently starts off with the beautiful bride playfully smearing cake on her new hubby’s face.
However, it’s the groom’s excessive reaction that has thousands of outraged people describing his act as a “red flag”.

The groom was so aggressive that she stumble towards a nearby chair.

Bride defends groom smashing whole cake in her face
However, the newly-married woman defended her man’s over-the-top actions.
“This is us and it was funny to everyone,” she wrote about the video that has been viewed by more than 3 million people.
“I’m sorry that you have a different sense of humour.”
She also added that she “wasn’t embarrassed” by the controversial footage.
But she seemed concerned enough to post another video of a montage of loved-up happy snaps of the pair in an attempt to prove her point.

Not everyone was disgusted by the video with some backing up the bride for taking it all in her stride.
“They both found it funny … it’s none of anyone else’s business,” one TikTok user wrote.
“As long as you’re happy, that’s what matters,” another agreed.
However, her montage motive didn’t work for most people who were advising the bride to end the marriage.
“Girl we believe you love him. It’s the other way around for us. This is scary because that’s not love. No matter how many ‘couple photos’ you post,” one person said.
“Divorce on the next level,” one said.
“Run to the divorce court now…Run, girl, run,” agreed another.
“If you have the whole internet worried … there’s probably a reason for it. People aren’t hating, we are genuinely concerned,” echoed another.

One woman said that she and her husband also “smashed cake” on each other’s face at their wedding, but quickly pointed out that this was different.
“But the way his face looks angry and he throws the whole cake … yeah, no,” she said
“This is incredibly sad. It’s not a prank, was disrespectful and kind of embarrassing for you even if you don’t see that.”
The couple have since updated their TikTok profile saying, “A CAKE never hurt anyone
